Below (under that photo of my cheesy old mug) is a bunch of reviews from couples that feature in my end of year slideshows for 2025.

“Danny and I have been sitting on this review for a few months now, and we can only apologise to Ed for such a belated post — but honestly, we’ve struggled to find words that don’t sound like generic wedding-review clichés.
So instead, here’s the TL;DR of our relationship with Ed:


• His photos of complete strangers’ weddings made us wish we’d been guests at those weddings.

• We went for a pint before the wedding and instantly felt at ease — he’s genuinely interesting and actually wants to know you, not just tick boxes on a form.

• He was never pushy or showy and really took the time to get to know us as a couple.

• On the day, Ed was everywhere and nowhere at the same time — never intrusive, never pulling us away from the fun. He captured tiny, fleeting moments we didn’t even realise were happening.

• No constant posing, no two-hour portrait marathons, no interruptions — just pure time with our favourite people.

• And the turnaround on our photos was unbelievably quick — we weren’t expecting them nearly so soon and it made reliving the day even better.

We genuinely had a good old cry looking through them. They were exactly what we wanted — and more. Ed captured the day exactly how it felt to us: relaxed, joyful, chaotic in the best way, full of love and personality. Every single person who’s seen them has commented on how stunning they are… and how unbelievably cool they look.


We can’t stop looking at them. We don’t think we ever will.


At this point we’d like Ed to document every major life event going forward — birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas dinner, the lot. If you’re lucky enough to book him, do it immediately. You will not regret it for a second.”

“My now husband and I decided to elope and get married in London. Of course we needed a photographer for such an occasion. We found Ed's website early on, but also looked at other photographers. During this search we were able to look at many websites with beautiful photos, but always ended up thinking about Ed, his pictures just stuck with us. He actually really was our first and only choice and we were very lucky that he accepted us as clients.

We did a pre-shoot, where Ed made us feel super comfortable for the posed photos. We've always been extremely awkward when having photos taken, yet Ed seemed to take all of that away.
